Let’s say you are using an app or playing a game on your iOS device. With Control Center, it’s easy to see at a glance how much battery your AirPods have left with just a few actions and determine when you need to charge them again.

How to Check AirPods Battery Life from Control Center on iPhone & iPad
Before you continue with this procedure, make sure your AirPods are connected to your iPhone or iPad. Accessing the iOS Control Center may vary depending on the device you are using, so just follow the steps below.
- If you are using an iPad, iPhone X, or later device, you can access Control Center by swiping down from the top right edge of the screen. However, if you are using an iPhone with a large forehead and chin, such as an iPhone 8 or earlier, simply swipe up from the bottom of your screen as shown in the image below, to access it.
- Just tap on the “AirPlay” icon in the Playback menu, which is the top right in Control Center.
- Now, you should be able to see the battery percentage of your AirPods or AirPods Pro, displayed just below the headphones, as shown below.
There’s pretty much all you need to do to quickly see the battery percentage of your AirPods on your iPhone or iPad.
Alternatively, you can also check the battery life by using the Battery widget in the Today view. This is probably the fastest way to see the battery percentage, especially if you are on the home screen.
Even so, the Control Center method may still be a faster way to view battery life when you are scrolling apps, watching videos, listening to music, or playing games.
Control Center provides quick access to some functions that are not easily accessible. Similar to this added convenience, iOS Control Center has multiple switches that let you quickly enable or disable certain features from the comfort of your home screen or without having to quit the app you are using.
